My love of the human figure stems from my graduate school studies at the New York Academy of Art. It’s a subject matter that is both challenging and stimulating at the same time and to which I always find myself returning to hone my skills.

I’m a self taught watercolorist and find the medium to be one that I gravitate towards during my most pensive and solitary times. Coincidentally working with the nude is also something that most often requires me to be in a similar mood. It may be something about the intense focus and awareness of forms and proportions but whatever the reason, the marriage of watercolor and the nude is one that continues to intrigue me.
